As a volunteer project for the San Diego Mission Beach Council and city lifeguards, I created a detailed map to help beachgoers view distances between lifeguard stations and find public restrooms, parking, and other resources. The 8-foot by 3-foot maps are located at each of the three Mission Beach and Pacific Beach lifeguard stations. And if you look closely enough, you might even spot Slow Moe cruising the boardwalk.
